1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Savour Foods. By accessing or using Savour Foods, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when using Savour Foods. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
3. Account & Verification
Identity verification (including NIN and photo ID) may be required. For providers, CAC registration is optional with a 90-day grace period to add CAC certificate while earning on the platform.
4. Bookings & Payments
Bookings are made between clients and verified caterers. Payments are processed securely through Paystack. Payments go directly to the caterer — we don't hold any funds. The deposit and balance are paid separately, and our fee is deducted from each payment. The caterer usually receives their share the next business day. Payment constitutes acceptance of the quoted terms.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled in line with the terms agreed at booking and applicable platform policies. Refunds are processed via Paystack; processing times may vary. Chargebacks may be initiated in accordance with card issuer rules.
6. Provider & Client Responsibilities
Both parties must act honestly, communicate clearly, and comply with applicable laws. Providers must honour confirmed bookings and deliver as agreed. Clients must provide accurate event details and pay as required.
7. Disputes
If a disagreement arises, our team reviews evidence from both sides and aims to resolve disputes fairly within 48 hours. Resolution is handled in good faith; specific outcomes depend on the circumstances of each case.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savour Foods is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or bookings between users.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
