Provider Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-16
We may update these policies as required. Please review this page periodically for changes.
1. Overview
This Provider Policy applies to caterers and food providers using Savour Foods. By listing on Savour Foods, you agree to these terms.
2. Onboarding & Verification
Providers must complete identity verification (NIN and photo ID) as required. Bank details and a Paystack subaccount are required to receive payments. CAC registration is optional with a 90-day grace period to add your CAC certificate while earning on the platform.
3. Listings & Quotes
Listings and quotes must be accurate and reflect your true offerings, pricing, and availability. You must honour confirmed bookings once payment is received.
4. Payments, Commission & Settlement
When a client pays, the money goes directly to your account — we don't hold any funds. The deposit and balance are paid separately. We take our fee from each payment, and you’ll usually receive your share the next business day.
5. Conduct & Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, maintain food safety standards appropriate to your services, and treat clients respectfully. Prohibited conduct includes fraud, misrepresentation, or delivering substandard services.
6. Cancellations, Disputes & Resolution
Cancellations must be communicated promptly. If a dispute arises, our team reviews evidence from both sides and aims to resolve it fairly within 48 hours. Outcomes are determined based on the specific circumstances and available evidence.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these policies, fraud, non-compliance with verification requirements, or other actions that harm users or the platform.
8. Changes to This Policy
